NIX Paints can’t reference NIX Digital palette colors

Richard295

I initially scanned (via NIX Mini hardware) the color of my roof (via NIX Digital application) to use that color as a component of a new house exterior pallet. After scanning the roof, I put my ladder away. The roof color coordinated pallets were nicely generated by the NIX Digital application.

The next step was to select paints to match the NIX Digital pallet colors but there was no way for the companion application, NIX Paints, to reference the palette colors in NIX Digital. The only solutions were to get out the ladder and rescan the roof color in NIX Paints or ignore NIX paints and use a different vendor’s Web application called “Easy RGB”. Easy RGB allowed me to enter the NIX Digital palettes’ RGB values to find commercial paints that were close.

Fix for Split View & Landscape

oc az us

I want to like this app, but it’s unbelievable that it still doesn’t support Landscape orientation and Split View.

What’s the point of all the wasted space? I run this on a 12.9” and on a 10.5” iPad, and there is so much wasted space that, if it supports Split View or Slide Over multitasking, it would be great.

Beyond that, here’s a suggestion (or two) —

How about if you separate the color labels a little bit? Maybe an extra line in between each of them. Why have them all cramped one line right after the other, with no between-line spacing, and then leave all the empty space below?

Finally, maybe you can add a little icon or button to copy to the clipboard each color line?

So, if I want to copy the sRGB values of a color I read, I could tap a little button next to the color breakdown, instead of struggling trying to select the line to copy it to the clipboard?

Usability is important. Perhaps you can improve the app a little bit. It would be awesome.
