Nix Sensor Ltd. is a Hamilton, Ontario-based technology company founded by Matthew Sheridan in 2013. Inspired by interior designers burdened by heavy tote bags filled with fan decks, Sheridan began developing a tool that would revolutionize the way professionals measure color.
Here at Nix Sensor Ltd., we’ve developed a color tool that measures color more accurately and conveniently than ever before. The Nix Pro Color Sensor is a real-life Photoshop eyedropper tool that can scan any surface and provide color measurement in RGB, CMYK, HEX, CLAB, and more.
This unique and remarkable device offers industry-grade color accuracy without the frustration of using a fan deck or the difficulty of using a spectrophotometer. Fan decks and swatch books are subjective and inaccurate, where dust, sunlight, humidity, and time can alter the color appearance. This means that the color delivery protocol is no longer effective or accurate.
All Nix Pro sensors are wireless, factory-calibrated and require no user calibration, minimizing downtime and increasing accuracy. Supporting professionals working with Fabrics & Textiles, Printing & Imaging, Food & Agriculture, Health & Beauty, Industrial manufacturing, and more, the Nix Pro will eliminate the guess work and provide precise color data – sent right to your smartphone or tablet.
