At GAMMA, Nix helped power a major new in-store paint experience across more than 500 retail locations in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
As part of a complete store redesign, GAMMA set out to make paint buying easier, more inspiring, and more confidence-driven for customers. Nix supplied tethered Nix Spectro 2 devices integrated directly with DESO point-of-sale software, giving store teams a fast, reliable way to capture colors from real-world items customers bring into the store.
Whether matching a fabric, tile, cabinet door, décor piece, or existing paint sample, customers can now move from inspiration to product selection with greater confidence. Once the color is identified, the system helps guide them toward the best paint options across brands, use cases, and budgets.
The launch was supported by an international TV marketing campaign during the UEFA European Championships, helping position GAMMA as a modern, customer-first destination for paint and color matching.
With Nix Spectro 2, GAMMA turned color matching into a more powerful retail experience: faster for staff, easier for customers, and better connected to the final sale.
At Comex, Nix helped deliver a custom color-matching solution designed specifically for professional paint contractors across Mexico.
Comex needed a device that was affordable, accurate, easy to use, and scalable enough to support a nationwide contractor program. In response, Nix designed, developed, and brought to market a completely new color measurement device: the Nix Mini.
The program gives Comex a powerful way to reward top repeat customers with a practical tool that helps them work faster, look more professional, and recommend colors with greater confidence. Paired with a custom Comex app for iOS and Android, the Nix Mini is locked to the official Comex color palette, ensuring every scan drives customers back to Comex products and maximizes return on the campaign.
Nix also developed a custom analytics platform, giving the Comex marketing team valuable insight into color trends by city, region, and demographic group.
