Nix Sensor wins Red Dot Award 2022

Red Dot stands for belonging to the best in design and business. The international design competition, the “Red Dot Design Award”, is aimed at all those who would like to distinguish their business activities through design. The distinction is based on the principle of selection and presentation. Excellent design is selected by competent expert juries in the areas of product design, communication design, and design concepts.

Of the 3 design concepts recognized by Red Dot, Nix Sensor was awarded the product design award for the Spectro 2 spectrophotometer. A record number of companies submitted their products for this years awards and the judging process lasted several days. The entries from all over the world were scrutinized in detail and assessed in terms of their design quality and degree of innovation.

The Spectro 2 is the world’s first portable spectrophotometer allowing the user to scan objects or surfaces for capturing spectral color data. This data can then be used digitally to communicate, analyze and adjust color in a number of ways for numerous business types.
